Consultant

Emptoris consultants provide supply management consulting, supply chain strategies, data analysis and project management services to supply management organizations that use Emptoris Solutions.

Responsibilities:
As a consultant, you will work directly with client teams and consulting team members and will be responsible for:

Collecting project requirements
Managing multiple client projects
Developing sourcing and contracts strategies and processes
Cleansing and manipulating data
Configuring Emptoris software based on project requirements
Training customers on Emptoris software and sourcing/contracting techniques
Developing and presenting reports
Coaching sourcing teams through trade off analysis
Automating manual processes
Creating templates, how-to documents and other best practices content

Requirements:
Applicants must meet the following requirements:

5+ years of professional consulting experience, preferably in supply chain and/or software
Technical undergraduate degree from a top-tier university (CS, EE, ME, etc.) or equivalent
MBA from a top-tier university or equivalent job experience
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong client relationship management skills
Ability to travel 50%+
Job is located at the Emptoris Headquarters in Burlington, MA (just outside Boston)
