About the Job
The following is a representative description of the position?s role and responsibilities. Reflecting the flexible nature of our work, Nexant will adjust this description as necessary to meet operating and strategic needs of its business.
Nexant is currently seeking a Consultant I for our Louisville, Colorado office for our Planning and Evaluation group.
Duties and Responsibilities
Senior-level analyst support including database programming, data collection, project research, energy analytics, etc.
Work independently and in teams to conduct tasks related to research projects and participate in research efforts.
Develop and maintain multiple databases using Microsoft Access and Excel-based Visual Basic.
Lead teams of Analysts in project specific tasks and provide overall QA/QC on deliverables of team members.
Develop survey instruments and research design.
Conduct primary and secondary data collection efforts as well as data analysis.
Lead project report writing, including results and actionable recommendations.
Support presentations of project findings to client
Bachelors degree in engineering or research related field of study (economics, engineering, statistical analysis, evaluation research, social science research, scientific research, hypothesis testing research, physics etc.).
Master degrees in similar fields as above may reduce years of experience requirement by 2-3 years
5-7 years or work experience.
Proficiency with statistical analysis software such as SAS, STATA, SPSS, or similar required.
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel and Outlook
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks.
Experience preparing reports detailing analytical findings.
Excellent writing, communication, and computer skills are mandatory
Experience in survey design and analysis
Experience leading a team of peers, providing direction and QA/QC of final deliverables
Experience presenting findings to clients
