Overview:
Responsible for the delivery of demonstrable progress toward customer's solution usage goals (as measured in iterations / sprints)
Coordinates activities for assigned projects
Removes team obstacles or inefficiencies
Facilitates high team productivity through efficient process and transparency within the team
Works with project constituents to set deadlines, clarify responsibilities, resolve project issues, and monitor progress of projects
Manages multiple, complex projects simultaneously
Ensures an effective implementation and rollout that maximizes solution value
Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement within the client delivery organization
Principal Responsibilities:
Manage and document changes to project scope that have an impact on SciQuest's resource and/or time commitments.
Establish and manage relationships with client to sustain a strong business relationship leading to high client satisfaction, retention of existing business and development of new business.
Facilitate solution and process workshops to identify client business objectives, define project goals and provide a plan for maximizing the value of the solution.
Lead client and project team members to define and document client business requirements, assess the need for, and recommend process enhancements, and document software and integrations specifications for configuring the solution.
Develop and maintain iteration plans and supporting documentation which track progress against project deliverables, tasks, and activities.
Manage the solution configuration, deployment and software issue resolution to ensure a timely solution acceptance.
Proactively identify and mitigate or resolve project risks and issues.
Team effectively with other parts of the SciQuest organization to address and resolve client issues.
Manage communication of appropriate project information to clients and within SciQuest.
Provide appropriate work direction and mentoring to other team members, assisting and counseling as required. Influence others, through motivation and encouragement, to accomplish team goals.
Ensure a successful client transition from Implementation to Support.
Develop and maintain proficiency in the company's software solutions, solution methodologies, and core technologies
Position Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
7+ years of business experience with 3+ years of demonstrated experience in leading application implementations / providing consulting services in a client environment.
2-5 years eProcurement or Supply Chain software application experience preferred.
Proficient in the use of MS Project, Excel and Word as well as other typical business productivity tools.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, executive level presence and experience in facilitation.
Work extensively over the phone and in-person with our clients and suppliers. Strong communication skills are a must.
Business Process Implementation experience in eProcurement or Supply Chain is preferred.
Strong working knowledge of Project Management (Agile preferred)
Experience in supporting hosted software
Experience with ERP implementation or integration preferred.
Strong technical project management skills.
Business automation and workflow process development desirable.
Strong project management, interpersonal, negotiation, communication, presentation, documentation and problem solving skills.
Must be able to learn quickly, make strong individual contributions and handle multiple projects simultaneously in a team environment
Ability to act independently, take initiative and drive tasks and issues to resolution.
Working Conditions / Physical Demands:
Will be required to travel domestically and internationally. Travel ranges from 30 - 50%
