THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Job Description / Responsibilities: Technical Marketing Information, (TMI), is utilized by our customer dealers around the world for applying, selling and servicing engines. This job will require interfacing with organizations within the customer facility. Data accuracy is the most importance aspect of the job in conjunction with timely response to data requests. Collection and organization of technical information along with providing complete documentation of the processes used to develop the data and storage are requirements of the job for ensuring data integrity in TMI. Analysis and publishing of data to TMI for Natural Gas and Diesel Engines. Documentation and simplification of data processing. Project coordination of data published to TMI, Test Specs and Price List Setting Compatibility. Development of new data processing calculations and methods. Support for several Microsoft Access databases. Software User Interface Requirements document writing. Coordination with Information Technology teams on software program updates and installation.
?Position requires someone adept at working with computers, computer systems and data analysis. Must have strong data analysis skills.
?Must be self motivated with a good sense of urgency when handling assigned tasks.
?Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and the ability to work with diverse personalities is required.
?Must have the ability to work on thier own, take initiative, be an independent worker.
Desirable qualifications: Advanced spread sheet skills such as Macro writing, Visual Basic for Excel, Access database creation and data manipulation, Visual Basic, and SQL are a plus.
Minimum Education: BSME, BSMET
Required Software: MS Office Suite (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Adobe, Access, Lotus123, Crystal Reports and two legacy systems, Vax and IBM Main frame.
