Consulting Manager Reval
About the Position:
The primary responsibility of the Consulting Manager is ownership and accountability for the delivery of Treasury and Risk Management product implementations in North America. Additionally, administers and insures compliance with all company standards, policies and procedures. Reports to the Director and VP of Professional Services ? North America.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for reviewing and approving all project plans for implementations
Hands on consulting work on the treasury management projects
Review and ensure that weekly status calls, reports, projects plans, and issue lists are updated and communicated to client
First point of contact for Reval implementation consultants when they have client questions that require further subject matter expertise.
Coordinate with Reval functional teams (Prod Mgt, Dev, CS, Sales, and Prod Support) to manage client issues in a timely and effective manner.
Monitor at the project level; budget, schedule, resource allocation, scope, and Client Satisfaction.
Work with other Consulting Managers to coordinate resource planning for current and upcoming implementations.
Review and ensure Client Summary status sheet and issue log is updated weekly by consultants and project managers of those projects that CM is accountable.
Review and approve timesheets and expenses of consultants working on projects.
Participate in internal meetings to disseminate client issues, required enhancements, and lessons learned with the Product team and Client Solutions
Work with Sales to provide project estimates for new client engagements.
Provide quarterly and annual performance reviews of consultants.
Strengthen Professional Services team in application knowledge, business knowledge, project management, and client facing skills.
Champion and encourage the promotion and delivery of practices which drive up Customer Satisfaction through all aspect of the business.
Will have a solid background and understanding of cash management, Cash Positioning and Forecasting, Liquidity Management, Payments and Payment Interfaces.
Has in-depth knowledge of Reval?s product offerings.
Knowledge of Corporate Treasury needs and requirements and how they are best met with Reval products or technology
Skilled at asking key questions that helps clients to discover their needs, building trust by communicating effectively with clients about status and issues, developing and presenting convincing recommendations that address key client objectives, setting appropriate expectations with client and managing them throughout the project life cycle
Requirements:
Baccalaureate or Graduate degrees in Business, Finance or Computer Science or relevant work experience
Strong customer support skills with demonstrated ability effectively dealing with escalated customer concerns.
Prior experience implementing or using other treasury management systems would be an big advantage (e.g. IT2; Wall Street; City Financials; Sunguard Quantum; Sunguard Integra-t)
Approximately 10+ years? experience with financial products in a sales, support, development, or consulting environment
Previous project/customer management experience
40% travel required
