Overview:
Emptoris Consulting Managers provide supply chain management and contracts consulting, supply chain strategies, data analysis and project management services to supply management organizations that use Emptoris Solutions. Managers are responsible for growing the supply management consulting practice and managing the delivery of projects to clients within the region. In addition, this individual will play a key sales and marketing role by providing domain expertise in sales situations, building reputation as a thought leader and designing holistic solutions to the supply management opportunities of current and prospective customers.
Responsibilities:
As a manager, you will work directly with client teams and consulting team members and will be responsible for:
Building and managing the consulting sales pipeline
Working in partnership with sales to architect solutions for prospective clients
Managing the delivery of supply management projects
Providing supply management counsel to senior leadership within client organizations
Developing new innovative approaches to solving complex supply management challenges
Supporting global solutions from concept through delivery
Becoming an expert in Emptoris software
Creating programs to increase the adoption of Emptoris software within client organizations
Managing multiple client projects
Developing sourcing and contracts strategies and processes
Training customers on Emptoris software and sourcing/contracting techniques
Coaching sourcing te=ams through trade off analysis
Creating best practices content
Requirements:
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
5+ years of professional consulting experience, preferably in supply chain and/or software
MBA from a top-tier university or equivalent job experience
Expert understanding or supply management processes and technologies (spend analysis, strategic sourcing, supplier performance management, purchasing performance and compliance management)
History of designing and closing large solution deals ($1MM+)
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, presentation)
Must be able to demonstrate history of supply management innovations
Strong client relationship management skills
Ability to travel 75%+
