As the Content Marketing Manager, you understand business nuances in our sales and marketing space, translating these nuances into engaging content. An extrovert with a flair for narrative writing, you synthesize ideas sourced from the entire company in order to tell our story in an elegant fashion that is easy to convey to senior sales and marketing leaders in Fortune 5000 organizations. Our software represents the leading edge of data management and predictive analytics. Content-driven marketing is a critical component of our growth strategy, reinforcing Lattice Engines as a thought-leader and enabling our sales team to accelerate opportunities through the sales pipeline.
Responsibilities
Create, produce, and manage a broad set of content including whitepapers, sales collateral, website content, videos, presentations, webinars, etc.
Work tightly with our Sales and Marketing team to obtain accurate business objectives
Interface with the entire company to generate content ideas
Structure outlines prior to content creation, generating output on schedule
Fuse creativity with practicality in order to tell an engaging story
Own the content generation process, prioritize content production and
Syndicate a content publishing calendar to key internal constituencies
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in business writing, editing or journalism roles. Examples could include reporter or editing roles at leading business and academic magazines and publications (e.g., Harvard Business Review, McKinsey Quarterly), a previous corporate content marketing position, or similar content experience at an advertising/PR agency
A passion for finding and telling a story, with specific examples of representative content (authored or edited) that reflects a sophisticated, nuanced and engaging style.
Extroverted, engaging personality who enjoys collaboration with a broader team
Content production experience with old and new media formats, especially video
Domain expertise in any of the following areas is a plus: B2B sales and marketing, data management and analytics techniques, high-tech and financial services sectors
