Content Production Specialist Redfin
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Redfin is looking for an entry-level content production specialist who can help us make sure that everything we publish is maintained at the highest quality. You'll become an expert in our content management system and keep a watchful eye on our online content to ensure links are always working, facts are fixed, screenshots are current, new markets are plugged in, and inactive content is retired when needed. You think like a tester, read like an editor, and always pay attention to the details. And you do your part to help our creative team meet every publishing deadline.
Puzzle master: piece together the clues to get to the root cause and then fix it everywhere.
Edit on the fly: every page you touch gets a quick once-over to continually ensure the integrity of our content.

About the job:
Quality assurance: you make sure our content is always accurate, up-to-date, and consistent. When requests come your way, respond, verify, and then close the loop so everyone knows you're on it.
Teacher: keep fixing the same issue over and over again? Speak up about common or trending issues to help make every piece of content better before it goes out the door.
Team member: play well with others, lend a hand where you can, get your hands dirty when needed, and contribute to the collective success of Redfin.
Strong academic record: we are looking for people who excelled in school; recent graduates encouraged to apply.
Liberal Arts degree: we want someone with a background in English, writing, or communications who has an eye for copyediting, and some intellectual interests and panache, too.
Technical acumen: individuals with an aptitude or interest in content management systems and tools are desired. Basic knowledge of HTML and the ability to manipulate images in Photoshop or Illustrator is a HUGE plus.
Survival skills: your toolbox includes dealing with ambiguity and gettin? scrappy.

Position is hourly, averaging 10-15 hours per week, and three months to start with possibility of extension. Remote applicants encouraged; however, we'll likely have you on site in our downtown Seattle office for a few days of initial training.
