Federated Media Publishing (FMP) is seeking a Content Strategy Manager responsible for content marketing ideation, execution and ongoing management to maximize effectiveness of content marketing campaigns and grow account relationships with leading brands. Working closely with the Content Strategy Director, the Manager will ensure that all elements of content marketing campaigns are executed in line with defined strategies and high-quality standards. Ability to think creatively and critically, as well as communicate those ideas in a clear, compelling way, is a must. The Content Strategy Manager must also be able to build and maintain strong relationships with client contacts, as well as manage internal teams and external partners. Responsibilities:
Establish and execute content marketing programs against defined strategies that maintain a consistent brand voice and high level of quality
Lend editorial expertise to develop content and other program assets to attract and serve audience
Work with internal and external teams to produce and prioritize program element against competing deadlines
Define and monitor against key success metrics, reviewing web analytics and clearly communicating results and recommendations
Conduct regular account meetings to report overall progress and success of campaigns
Proactively monitor and report on new content and social media opportunities for FMP and clients
Regularly develop ideas for building audience engagement
Oversee project budgets and timelines
Required Experience:
3-5 years of experience in digital marketing and/or managing content and production for high-traffic websites
3-5 years of building and management account relationships
Excellent oral and written communication skills along with an ability to work with a broad range of internal and external clients
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Advanced understanding of web analytics; Omniture experience preferred
Advanced knowledge of HTML and experience with content management systems (eg., Wordpress)
Strong editorial skills, with ability to contribute to writing, editing, and proofreading when needed
BA/BS degree
