Contract (6 month minimum) Software and IT Specialist EnVivo Pharmaceuticals

Job Objectives:

Contractor will be primarily responsible for ongoing support of enterprise and desktop software systems, backend databases, and general IT support. In addition, this individual must possess solid communication skills in order to efficiently work with numerous departments within the organization, including R&D, Clinical Development, Legal, Finance, etc. Must be able to independently analyze requirements, plan and implement features, diagnose complex technical issues, and take direction from senior IT staff. Projects may also consist of data analysis, mining, customization, and maintenance of in-house systems.

This contract position will report to the Senior Manager of IT and Scientific Computing.

The contract length is six months, with the possibility of extension for the right individual.

Minimum Requirements:

- 3 ? 4 years Professional Experience

- Database experience ? Oracle (preferred), MS SQL Server, My SQL, or equivalent.

- Experience with database clients such as TOAD, Golden, etc.

- Database programming experience ? queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, etc. using SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, or equivalent.

- Web development ? Oracle APEX (preferred), DotNet, HTML, Javascript.

- Experience debugging, enhancing, and changing existing code bases.

- Ability to communicate with scientists of various disciplines including chemistry and biology.

- Experience in troubleshooting hardware and software issues on Windows XP and 7 Desktop systems, including MS Office, Outlook, etc.

- Experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.
