The Opportunity
We are seeking contract business research consultants to support projects in our Consulting Services Practice. Consulting Services works as a natural extension of Eduventures' research business. The division supports institutions' needs to solve complex institutional problems through proprietary custom research and management consulting, and to support institutional decision-making in the areas of strategy development, investment plans, and resourcing.

Ideal candidates are critical thinkers with exceptional skills in research and analytical business writing, in addition to a proven ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral formats.

Responsibilities
Contract business research consultants should possess expertise in business writing and be able to balance multiple priorities with defined deadlines. The key responsibilities of this role include:

Performing primary research by conducting telephone interviews
Conducting secondary-source research (i.e., Internet, database, and periodicals searches)
Analyzing data
Writing reports and creating presentations


Requirements

Past experience in research and/or consulting
Critical thinkers
Proven ability to communicate effectively
Attention to detail and accountability for results
Exceptional skills in research and analytical business writing
References for contract work
