Contract Product Marketing Manager Zuberance
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED As the Contract Zuberance Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for conceiving and executing on innovative marketing programs that drive demand for our products, executing the corresponding marketing activities for these programs, defining product packaging in line with existing messaging and positioning.
In your role as a Product Marketing Manager you will be the expert on Marketers (our Target Audience): why they buy, how they buy and their buying criteria and will transfer that knowledge into strategies and tactics that result in awareness, evaluation and adoption of Zuberance Products & Services. Attention to detail and an eye for quality, along with the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into business benefits are crucial.
This position is based in San Carlos, CA, and reports to the VP of Product.
Demand generation ? develop the strategy and manage the marketing programs that result in awareness, evaluation and adoption of our products
Product launch ? plan the launch of new products and releases, execute and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan
Develop and deliver Product Presentations (in person, online, recorded)
Internal team enablement (Sales, Account Management) ? communicate the nature, packaging, value proposition of the products to the internal teams and develop the tools that support these teams on the selling and ongoing delivery process of our products
Develop product packaging in line with current messaging & positioning.
Market intelligence ? be the expert on Marketers (our Target Audience): why they buy, how they buy and their buying criteria. Be the expert on Zuberance competition and how to beat them
Conduct ongoing analysis of market and competitors
5+ years of software product marketing experience.
Prior and recent experience in Startups delivering SaaS Products / Solutions
Bachelor's in business or marketing
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Willing to travel 25%
Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues and cross-functional teams, and third parties.
Bachelors degree required; preferably in business administration, marketing or communications. MBA preferred
Minimum 7 years product marketing experience working for a company in online marketing, social media/Word of Mouth marketing, marketing automation, eCommerce, social commerce, especially in a start-up environment
A strong, proven product marketer vs. a marketing communications person with some product marketing experience
Knowledge of other social marketing/Word of Mouth marketing companies, and their respective positioning, products, and value propositions
Proven knowledge of performance marketing and pay-for-performance pricing models
Passion for brand advocacy and Word of Mouth marketing
Strong technical foundation in online and social marketing (paid search, SEO, email marketing, online advertising, social/viral/WOM)
Strong skills in market analysis and specification of customer requirements, go-to-market planning, market positioning and messaging, and the development of marketing materials for enterprise accounts
Demonstrated ability to succeed in high-growth, dynamic market environments
Excellent presentation and written communications skills with prior experience presenting to customers and in public forums
Very talented at connecting technology solutions to business needs
Works well under pressure and deliver results in resource and time-constrained start-up environments
Ability to determine business goals and align product strategies and tactics to achieve these goals
Ability to connect market dynamics, target customers, opportunities, and partnerships critical to success
Strategic and detail-oriented
Ability to work well with and across multiple functions: product management, engineering, sales, customer success, marketing, operations
