DescriptionUnder direction of the Senior Recruiter, the Contract Recruiter will screen and recruit potential employees for AutoTrader Group. This role is a six month contract, with opportunity to extend. This role will sit on-site at the corporate headquarters of vAuto in Oak Brook, IL.
Perform full life-cycle recruiting from identifying candidates thru job offers
Create job postings and manage incoming candidate flow for assigned requisitions via applicant tracking system.
Conduct screens with candidates to determine overall fit for assigned roles.
Perform reference checks as needed
Initiate background checks and drug screenings as needed.
Work with Senior Recruiter for requisition process, status updates, candidate recommendation, interview scheduling, and HR compliance
Other tasks/duties as needed/assigned
Qualifications
Minimum 1-3 years of Corporate or Agency recruiting experience preferably in the Information Technology vertical
Experience with: internet, direct sourcing/cold calling, networking/referrals
Basic knowledge of federal and state regulations related to employment
Basic understanding of IT technologies and tools (applications, infrastructure, etc.)
Experience with an enterprise applicant tracking system (Taleo preferred)
Proficient in Microsoft Office products
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; able to gather candidate information competently in order to supply Hiring Managers with the most detailed information available.
Self-motivated, able to work independently and multi-task in a fast paced environment
Detailed oriented
Bachelor's or Associates degree preferred or relevant work experience.
