Contract Senior Quantitative Research Analysts Eduventures
The Opportunity
We are searching for individuals with experience in advanced quantitative analytical methods, including predictive and econometric modeling and/or advanced market research techniques. Senior Quantitative Research Analysts will create customized, timely reports informed by reliable and valid survey data, descriptive statistics, and modeling. These are contract positions assigned to specific clients and projects.
Key Responsibilities
Conducting quantitative primary and secondary research to identify and analyze key issues and trends that university professionals face
Developing and executing econometric and statistical models to identify segments of interest and causal relationships
Evaluating decision-making and pricing scenarios for institutions to determine the likelihood of a favorable outcome
Developing and delivering results to members on time, and highlighting recommendations and follow-up research opportunities
Delivering technical results to diverse audiences clearly and intuitively
Crafting client ready reports and deliverables independently
Assisting in the design, development, and delivery of research studies
Requirements
Bachelor?s degree; Master?s or Doctoral degree preferred
A minimum of three years of experience in quantitative research design and analysis, including regression analysis and statistical and econometric modeling
Understanding of microeconomic theory and econometric methods
Understanding of linear and nonlinear models, with an emphasis on their applications in higher education
Ability to properly organize/analyze data with respect to specific modeling scenarios
Familiarity with survey research methods including design, implementation, analysis, and reporting
Superior attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
A business-oriented, entrepreneurial mind-set, experience in market research, and proven ability to translate quantitative data into clearly written business reports
Ability to explain complex quantitative methods in terms appropriate to executive-level audiences
Strong interpersonal skills and client-service ethic
Highly experienced in SPSS, STATA, SAS or similar statistical software
Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
