The Position:
ICG Commerce is seeking a Contract Services Associate to assist in the facilitation of supplier agreements as part of our procurement outsourcing offering. The Contract Services Associate is responsible for preparing initial document drafts (utilizing provided templates), acting as liaison with our customers? in-house legal counsel, our sourcing and category management team members, and third party suppliers, ensuring consistency of agreement terms, facilitating the contract negotiation process, and ensuring that required terms and conditions are included. This is a non-attorney position.
Essential duties and responsibilities of position:
Facilitating the completion of commercial document templates, including, but not limited to: services agreements, amendments, addenda, termination letters, etc.
Preparing initial documents and ensuring conformance with standard policies, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and responsiveness, and facilitating modifications to such documents.
Assist client Account General Managers in understanding legal issues with Contracts.
Act as a liaison between Contract Attorneys and client Account General Managers.
Working with project teams and customers? in-house counsel on progress and barriers.
Facilitating customers? in-house legal review and approval process
Job Requirements :
The Ideal Candidate will have:
Bachelor?s degree or equivalent experience.
1-3 years of commercial document preparation experience or relevant paralegal experience a preferred but not required.
Paralegal certificate a plus, but not required
Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast paced environment without sacrificing quality of work.
Ability to follow process with attention to detail and meet timelines.
Effectively communicate, establish and maintain positive working relationships with customers and suppliers at various levels of an organization.
Ability to work effectively with multiple customer professionals, in-house lawyers and suppliers.
Adaptable communication style to enable conformance with our customers? varied corporate cultures and organizational structures.
Ability to provide our customers? positions on issues effectively and to reach resolution in a positive and efficient manner.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Word.
