Contract Specialist - Home Health Cypress Care

Objective
The primary role of the Network Development Specialist is to develop Cypress Care?s network of ancillary providers for Home Health services. The Network Development Specialist will work closely with direct-line team members and management to negotiate Letters of Agreements (LOAs) for acute care situations; whenever possible, will immediately negotiate formal agreements with prospective network providers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Initiate contract discussions with prospective providers and negotiate contracts that are financially beneficial to Cypress Care and that meet all operational requirements
Assertively follow up with providers to finalize and execute LOAs
Create and maintain tool to track contracting activities
Actively communicate to appropriate Home Health team members contract negotiation status
Other responsibilities as needed by the Company and Department
Qualifications
Associate Degree in healthcare administration, business administration, communication, marketing, or other related field from an accredited college or university preferred
o Combination of High School Diploma with specific home health workers? compensation contracting work experience acceptable substitution
3-5 years of exposure to healthcare industry, contract negotiation
Prior experience with Ancillary Service providers in the Workers? Compensation marketplace desired.
