Are you research-oriented and fabulous at identifying top talent? Familiar with Boolean Logic, always reading TechCrunch and driven to find the top engineers? Come join Yelp as a contract sourcer to develop our world-class engineering team! You will work side-by-side recruiters and engineers, searching far and wide for the next Yelp engineers. Responsibilities:
Work with recruiters and the engineering team to thoroughly understand our technical positions
Create, execute, and maintain tactical sourcing strategies for technical positions
Screen and identify talent through passive and active sources including postings, social networking, internet research, cold calling, etc.
Contribute significantly to the candidate pipeline on a weekly basis
Communicate professionally, tactfully, and with the utmost diplomacy at all times, treating all candidates with dignity and respect
Requirements/Skills:
At least one to three years of experience in a sourcer role, preferably at start-ups or successful technology companies in Silicon Valley
Jobvite experience and training from AIRS, Duran HCP, or a similar program is strongly preferred
High level of comfort around engineer-types and the ability to 'speak geek' with them
Exceptional customer service focus combined with exemplary, detailed follow-through
Strong written and verbal communication skills with no fear of cold calling, networking, and public speaking
Proven ability to consistently and positively contribute in a fast-paced changing work environment while prioritizing multiple functions and managing time efficiently
Proficiency with OSX and Google Docs
