Contractor - IT Help Desk Technician Audience

Our company is a leader in voice processing and noise suppression experiencing significant growth in all areas and as such we are looking to add a Desktop Technician to our IT Support team.
The position is located in our brand new Headquarters building in Mountain View and will give you the opportunity to increase your skills in desktop support while working with users in Finance, HR and Engineering. We?re looking for a quick thinking problem solver who genuinely likes to help people use technology and will be energized by the variety of support tasks in our mid-sized fast growing company.
Daily support of end users and desktop support issues
Setup new users including creating AD, Exchange, and Linux accounts
Image new systems and software applications
Help monitor and administer client management systems including client backup, anti-virus, etc.
Maintain accurate and complete help desk tickets including following approval policies
Help with documentation and training for end-users
Trouble shooting of state of the art AV system and multifunction printer/copier/scanner network
Experience, Skills and Education Preferred
Very good communication, very well organized, and ability to multi-task
Strong understanding of IT processes, ITIL experience or exposure preferred
Certification in A+ and/or MCP preferred, Linux desireable but not required
Certification support available for successful candidate
At least 2 years of experience in a Desktop Support role
Preference for experience supporting high end engineering teams or technical professionals
Experience in dealing with the latest laptop and desktop computer hardware
