Provide full administrative support to legal team.
Full-cycle management of contracts from draft through execution stage.
Manage contracts database and monitor dates and milestones that require action.
Set up and maintain contract files and compliance records.
Draft and review various documents, including form agreements and correspondence of varying complexity, researching and analyzing legal rules and statutes, researching relevant facts and preparing and/or compiling documents to assist attorneys in drafting of nondisclosure agreements, collaboration agreements, licensing agreements, and other legal documentation.
Process all requests for educational speaking events.
Process all requests for Process and Handling Agreements.
Operate as a single-point resource with respect to processing and tracking all legal and IP-related materials.
Work with legal staff to maintain compliance in all aspects of the company?s business.
Extensive contact with employees, managers, and external customers.
Handle highly confidential internal and external documents and prepare legal documents regarding compliance issues.
Review and process incoming invoices for outside legal services and maintain detailed expense log.
Handle highly confidential internal and external matters.
A minimum of two years of experience as a Legal Assistant or Contracts Administrator.
Proven experience working with contracts in a life sciences or law firm environment and managing a contracts database and filing system.
Requires a high degree of flexibility and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
Must be able to handle many tasks simultaneously and be willing to assist with work overflow.
Self-starter committed to producing a high-quality work product, work independently, and as part of the legal team.
Excellent organization skills, computer expertise, and an advanced knowledge of legal terminology, concepts, and procedures.
Must be detail oriented.
