We are looking for an experienced paralegal to help support our sales team and the legal team with contracts and a variety of other matters.Responsibilities include:
Preparing standard form license agreements, nondisclosure agreements, independent contractor agreements and statements of work, and other agreements.
Negotiating prepared agreements and working with legal counsel as necessary to resolve issues.
Communicating with all parties involved in transactions to bring transactions to closure.
Summarizing and managing executed contracts in systems.
Responding to requests for information related to Customer agreements.
Responsible for preparing bids, process qualifications, and test and progress reports
Develop and prepare regular reports on the status of contracts.
Responsible for managing the contract database and all associated files.
The experienced applicant should have the following:
Five or more years working in the software industry.
Familiarity with and ability to prepare and negotiate form Nondisclosure agreements, Independent Contractor Agreements and Statements of Work, Software License Agreements, amendments and other related documents.
A working knowledge of software licensing and the software industry.
Excellent writing and communications skills.
Must possess strong leadership and interpersonal skill
Strong organizational and time management skills
Knowledge of SalesForce is very helpful.
The paralegal should be comfortable in and enjoy a fast paced environment. The paralegal should like being part of a team and should be comfortable seeking assistance, but should also be a confident and independent worker.
