Contracts Administrator / Paralegal Mirantis

Mirantis is seeking someone with the same level of focus, curiosity and collaborative instinct in their work as found across our strong engineering team to join us as a Contract Specialist/Legal Administrator.
Draft, negotiate, revise and review a wide variety of contracts, including license, reseller, technology partnership, non-disclosure, IP, cloud-based services agreements, professional services agreements and statements of work.
Partner with Sales and Professional Services teams to craft SOW language that complies with Mirantis policies, customer requirements and ensure that the scope is clearly documented and aligned to deliverables.
Identify contractual issues such as compliance, conflicts of interest, accounting terms, and provide follow through until the issues are resolved by the respective offices. Ensure that terms outlined in renewals and amendments are aligned to previous/master agreements.
Advise Finance, Operations, Professional Services and Sales teams regarding compliance with contractual rights and obligations. Manage compliance procedures.
Maintain contract database and provide required scheduled and on demand reporting.
Coordinate and assist in developing policies, procedures and systems to support and facilitate efficient contract review and generation.
Periodically review and revise standard agreements to reflect changes in policies and applicable laws and regulations.
Assist with domestic and international regulatory compliance.
At least three years of corporate legal experience negotiating and drafting commercial contracts, preferably with a technology company.
Associates Degree in related field with outstanding academic credentials.
Proven ability to negotiate large, complex software and services agreements with enterprise customers.
Knowledge of contract, commercial, and general business laws and regulations within the software industry; solid knowledge in intellectual property laws.
Good understanding of IT industry, software products and services.
Highly motivated, detail-oriented, strong independent team contributor; able to work independently and cross-functionally.
Ability to understand and integrate details of business/operational environment into legal and policy requirements.
Ability to handle multiple tasks, take on new responsibilities and prioritize work in a dynamic, deadline-intensive environment.
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Solid knowledge of financial terms and principles.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with SalesForce CRM highly desired.
