Job Description
We are looking for an energetic, self-motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Legal Department. This dynamic position offers the opportunity to work closely with members of the Legal, Sales, Client Services and Finance departments to coordinate, manage, negotiate and execute our software licensing contracts. The ideal candidate possesses project management skills, the ability to prioritize tasks, strong problem solving skills and interest in legal contract management. He/she thrives in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment and is a motivated team player.
Job Responsibilities:
? Review terms, propose revisions and coordinate execution of software licensing contracts.
? Communicate legal issues to internal departments and obtain approvals for non-standard terms.
? Negotiate software licensing contracts with current and potential customers.
? Manage queue of pending contracts, as well as storage of executed contracts.
Required Skills:
B.A. or B.S. degree.
3 to 5 years of contract administration or paralegal experience preferred.
Ability to read and interpret contractual language and understand basic contract law principles.
Strong attention to detail and high level of accountability.
Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and problem solving skills.
Ability to regularly exercise discretion and judgment within defined policies.
Aptitude to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects.
Strong work ethic, a sense of urgency and is highly-responsive to many deadlines.
Experience in software industry; experience in financial services industry is a plus.
Proficiency in Salesforce.com.
Sense of humor, positive and strong interpersonal skills, including maturity, creativity and a high energy level.
