You work well in a fast-paced, challenging environment as part of a dynamic team of professionals. You can handle and manage several tasks and are a team player. You have the ability to communicate effectively internally and, if necessary, negotiate with opposing counsel or procurement departments. You are well organized, thoughtful and a self-starter.
You will provide legal support for our contracts and licensing team. Primarily this means negotiating non-disclosure agreements, vendor agreements and some licensing and sales transactions. It also requires assistance in maintaining our contractual process including forms, deal summaries and transaction playbooks. Additionally, you will support other members of the team in negotiating large sales and channel transactions. Finally, with a small legal department, you may be asked to assist the team in other aspects of the practice including IP administration and litigation matters.
Experience in the commercial and contractual aspects of business.
Experience in drafting and negotiating technology licensing or commercial transactions preferred.
High integrity, well organized and able to manage numerous projects simultaneously under end of quarter deadline pressure
Ability to interact well with others as well as conduct negotiations in a professional manner
Must be flexible and able to react promptly
Willingness to assist other team members
Good sense of humor and positive attitude
