We are seeking an entrepreneurial and enthusiastic self-starter to join our legal department to assume responsibility for review, negotiation, and on-going management of standard and non-standard master services agreements, scopes of work, nondisclosure and other agreements with customers, vendors and partners. Main Responsibilities
Prepare, negotiate and maintain a database of all client, vendor, and partner contracts in accordance with company guidelines and objectives. Reviews and analyzes agreement drafts for acceptability of proposed changes, to include redlining documents as necessary. Recognize key business issues, and takes necessary steps to safeguard company exposure and interests. Utilize a contracts database or other suitable tool to organize contract documents and to identify key triggers such as termination dates, payment terms, penalties, escalations, etc. Communicate regularly and effectively with internal customers ensuring they are aware of the status of contract documents and potential issues. Special projects, including research and reports as requested by management
Required Skills,
- Bachelor's degree required; JD degree preferred
- 3+ years experience in a managing, reviewing, negotiating contracts required
- Experience with drafting contracts in consulting, technology or similar preferred
- Prior experience with Salesforce and contract management systems
- Strong organization skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Must possess a high degree of professionalism
- Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with all areas of the business
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Excellent communication skills - both written and oral
- Positive attitude
- Flexibility to travel as needed
