Contracts Specialist-Annapolis Zenoss

What will Zenoss expect the Contract Specialist to do?--Draft clear, well written contract documents from approved forms
--Manage and coordinate contract requests, process, execution, and documentation-workflow management
--Improve and manage the Company's contract management system
--Review modifications to standard agreements per department guidelines
--Handle negotiations on assigned contracts
--Manage escalation of contract issues through the legal and management organizations
--Respond to inquiries about contracts and other commercial questions
--Review and negotiate vendor agreements
--RFP and RFI compliance review
--Capture and track contract obligations
--Maintain contract repository
--Research, recommend and implement systems that track the lifecycle of contracts from approval, negotiation and execution to expiration and renewal
Qualifications
--Minimum 5 years' experience in administering, reviewing, drafting and negotiating contracts, preferably within a software or other technology company
--Solid background in contracts with the ability to (a) draft form agreements and (b) review, understand, synthesize, and communicate basic provisions from various types of contracts
--BA/BS or paralegal certification from ABA accredited program
--Ability to multi-task and respond to rapidly changing environment
--Careful reader and meticulous attention to detail
--Ability to take initiative and improve the status quo
--Excellent business writing skills
