CONTROL SYSTEMS ARCHITECT ViewRay
This position is for a senior level control systems engineer / architect with system design experience. The candidate is expected to deliver solutions for accurate and reliable control of the ViewRay system. The individual must be capable of directing the design of the interfaces and algorithms necessary to achieve both performance and safety requirements.
Deliver solutions for accurate and reliable control of the ViewRay system
Identify opportunities to improve the architecture of the ViewRay control system
Participate in both system level and unit level requirement definition
Document solutions in accordance with QS requirements
Develop and maintain software necessary for control of the ViewRay system
Specify requirements for feedback to the control system and identify appropriate solutions
Provide support as necessary to other ViewRay engineers
Define and document external interfaces for the control system
Work with other engineers and scientists for integration of solutions into the system
Minimum 10 years experience developing control systems for complex systems
Demonstrated experience with MRI and/or radiotherapy applications preferred
BS or higher in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
Experience with development projects involving 3rd party suppliers. Must be able to communicate with 3rd parties and manage outsourced projects.
Ability to write documents that describe requirements, specifications, design, and test specifications
Experience with hazard analysis and mitigation in the design and development of complex systems
Experience delivering solutions which conform to IEC 60601
Ability to direct and be responsible for multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment
Ability to travel
