The controller position is accountable for the accounting operations of the company, including the productionof monthly financial statements, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a
comprehensive set of controls designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the Company's reported
financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles.
Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for the day-to-day accounting function, as well as management of reporting, General
Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable (Billing and Collections), and Payroll. Direct, manage,
supervise and coordinate the activities and operations of the accounting functions
2. Maintain and enhance a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
3. Manage outsourced functions
Compliance
1. Coordinate the provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit
2. Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
Desired Qualifications: The controller candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or business
administration, or equivalent business experience and at least 7 years of progressively responsible
experience. CPA required, Big 4 experience preferred and experience in billing and collecting from insurance
third party payers is a plus.
Working Conditions: Primarily in an office environment. Will be expected to travel as needed to Corporate
headquarters, as well as to potential acquirees to conduct due diligence. Periodic weekend or evening work
is expected.
Supervises: All accounting staff
