Job Description
Controller of Client Accounting
The Controller of Client Accounting is responsible for directing the client organization?s accounting group in general areas of accounting, financial reporting and financial control implementation and review. This position will report to the Chief Financial Officer.
-Up to 25% Travel Required

Position Responsibilities
Establish and maintain the organization's accounting principles, practices and procedures
Oversee the preparation and evaluation of budgets and other financial operating reports
Analyze financial results, and utilize financial metrics to identify trends, opportunities and actionable items
Presents findings and recommendations to Client, CFO and Senior Management
Ensures books and records are accurate and closed in a timely manner on a monthly basis
Liaison with auditors as needed during interim, ad hoc and year-end periods
Hire, lead and develop up to 30 direct reports
Provide leadership in developing and maintaining productive relationships with the client organization
Required Experience
Position Qualifications (Required)
Masters degree with an concentration in a related field from an accredited college/university
CPA Certification
15 years experience within an Accounting function
5 years experience with people management within an Accounting function
3 years of advance usage of Microsoft Office Suite including strong Excel (macros, pivot tables, linking, etc.) and Access skills
Experience with SOX Controls
Strong analytical, facilitation, and problem-solving, to include writing functional policies and procedures
Demonstrated experience in directing and leading others
Strong communications skills ? written and verbal
Position Qualifications (Preferred)
Experience within the Healthcare industry (Revenue Accounting)
Experience with Great Plains
Public accounting experience
