The Controller, US Operations will oversee all aspects of Finance for US Operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll and the administration of employee benefits. This hands-on position performs a variety of routine and complex professional and technical accounting and finance functions in maintaining the fiscal records, tools, systems and processes of the company.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
? Responsible for the US accounting department, maintaining effective internal controls and act as liaison between Finance and the Development department.
? Manages the monthly close and transfers the data to Israeli controller for consolidation, review and auditing. Prepares journal entries, accruals, analysis and reconciliations.
? Establishes and maintains the Company?s financial policies and procedures in accordance with all accounting rules and regulations and ensures adherence to accounting policies and procedures.
? Researches, determines and documents the accounting implications of transactions or changes in business and provides accounting and business expertise to project teams.
? Responsible for financial review of all company contracts.
? Responsible for all aspects of company budget projections and prepare monthly financial status report for senior management including budget variances analysis
? Additional assignments include cost accounting, cash flow, bank relationship handling, corporate regulatory requirements, insurance, external audits and tax returns.
? Requires close interface with Finance personnel at Israeli subsidiary.
QUALIFICATIONS
This job requires a combination of analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
REQUIREMENTS
? Bachelors in Business Administration with Accounting or Finance concentration. Master?s Degree or CPA preferred.
? 7+ years of related experience in Finance, 2+ years of management experience.
? Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
? Ability to prepare, analyze and interpret complex data and technical accounting issues and problem solve within limited timetable and tight deadlines.
? Strong time management and organization skills.
? Strong negotiation skills.
? ERP or strong systems experience.
? IFRS and SOX knowledge/experience preferred.
? Ability to handle multiple priorities.
? Expertise with cash management.
? Previous global experience is a plus.
