Controls Engineer (Job #CEAPWEB) Achates Power

The Controls Engineer is responsible for model-based controls algorithm development for diesel powertrain for subsystems including EGR, turbocharger, fuel injection and aftertreatment. The successful candidate will:

Implement and evaluate control strategies using Simulink on rapid-prototyping systems.
Plan and conduct experiments in order to characterize engine behavior for modeling and calibration purposes.
Maintain controls development project plans and provide controls software to project teams.
Collaborate with suppliers and external and internal partners for meeting project goals.


Requirements:

Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or foreign educational equivalent
Minimum of two years of experience in the job offered or in a similar occupation, such as Systems Engineer
Experience with diesel powertrain simulation, aftertreatment controls development and on-board diagnostics
