Conversion Engineer Vertafore, Inc.
Conversion Engineer works on a highly effective, fast-paced software development team and serves as the interface between our customers and development throughout the data conversion lifecycle. This is a unique cross-functional role that includes business analyst, development, project management, and quality assurance responsibilities.WHO ARE YOU?

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
2+ years database (SQL) experience ? data/schema analysis, writing complex queries, large data sets, database design, reverse engineering
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Extreme focus on attention to detail and delivering high-quality solutions.
Experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting requirements for a software development projects
Data conversion (ETL) process and technology experience.
Excellent customer-facing written and verbal communication skills.
Hands-on experience working on an Agile development team.
Familiarity with .NET, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, SQL Server, AJAX, XML, Web Services, HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS technologies. Development in any of these technologies a plus.
Occasional weekend and/or after-hours availability for client support and conversion assistance.
Prior quality assurance, technical project management, process improvement experience a plus.
Oracle PL/SQL experience a plus.
Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, or equivalent experience.
