COPYWRITER MANAGER Belkin Corporation
What you?ll do
As a Copywriting Manager you will develop and implement Belkin copy standards for use in all Marketing Communication mediums. This position will lead all efforts related to writing copy and establish platform strategy and style for advertising, collateral materials, tradeshow materials, packaging, manuals, naming, multimedia and online use in collaboration with cross-functional leads.
How you?ll do it
Manage and support all marketing communications efforts, working with Integrated Marketing, Interactive Marketing, Branding, Product Management, Marketing Services and other teams to ensure Belkin standards are being met and the Belkin brand is effectively represented.
Collaborate with Integrated Marketing Managers to create and/or edit all copy for advertising, collateral materials, tradeshow materials, packaging, manuals, multimedia and online.
Develop and maintain copywriting style and standards for use in all Belkin promotional materials.
Manage complete workflow of all copywriting projects, ensuring that procedures are efficient and effective at all times.
Team with Integrated Marketing Managers to coordinate consistency across all types of promotional media to promote the best Belkin message for branding and positioning.
Work with Public Relations department to help them promote effective writing styles and messaging.
Manage other copywriters, contractors and vendors, with full responsibility for ensuring standards are met and procedures are maintained; cross-train and promote education within the department.
What you?ll need
7 + years experience in a similar position; previous experience working in an advertising agency mandatory. Experience in the Consumer Electronics industry a plus.
Four year college degree or equivalent in Creative Writing, Advertising or related field.
Excellent writing, spelling, grammar, structure and proofing skills.
Excellent management, communication, and organizational skills.
