Copywriter MindBody Software
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Overview: This position is responsible for assisting with copywriting needs across MINDBODY?s marketing channels, with the goal of bringing in new customers and maximizing awareness of the MINDBODY brand. Major responsibilities include copywriting, copyediting (with an emphasis on SEO text analysis), creative concept development, and client communications.
Copywriting and Copyediting (80%)
Provide compelling, accurate content for MINDBODY materials, including but not limited to web content; print ads; collateral pieces; brochure content; marketing content (white papers, infographics, case studies); and other projects TBD.
Develop advertising copy for our print, web and paid search ads.
Provide copyediting support for, and contribute to, the MINDBODY Connections client newsletter and the MINDBODY blog, as needed.
Help other departments with their copywriting needs.
Provide strategic content for prospect-facing communications, including content marketing campaigns, email drip campaigns, sales collateral, sales emails, direct mail campaigns, tradeshow materials and related collateral.
Work with the Communications Team Manager and Online Team Manager to ensure website content is accurate and compelling, and optimized for the highest search engine rankings.
Creative Concept Development (10%)
Work individually and collaboratively with the Design team to conceptualize creative ideas, designs and layouts for marketing campaigns and collateral.
Ensure that creative concepts align with MINDBODY?s voice and brand strategy.
Work with the Permission Marketing & Automation Supervisor to conceive, develop and write various email drip campaigns for prospects. Develop a series of accurate, compelling and timely email templates for sales reps for various scenarios in the sales cycle. Ensure that they are consistent with the MINDBODY brand, both in voice and visually.
Work with the Graphic Designer & Video Project Manager to develop scripts and storyboards for video content.
Participate in strategic marketing planning and campaign concept development for MINDBODY initiatives.
Participate in Marketing Department and other organizational meetings, as required.
Collaborate with other marketing staff and other departments, as needed, and serve as a champion of the MINDBODY brand.
Complete regular project status reports to Communications Manager and Marketing Director.
Maintain a strong solid understanding of MINDBODY software.
Function with an attitude of continuous improvement and growth, both personally and for the organization.
Ability to perform the General Duties and Responsibilities set forth above in a consistent and efficient manner.
Bachelor's degree, preferably in communications, journalism, information technology, business or a related field.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
At least two years copywriting experience and/or two years in a marketing, advertising or business-to-business communications environment.
Experience in SEO copywriting/copyediting preferred.
Strong project management and organizational capabilities.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office products (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
