We are seeking a Corporate Account Executive to join our downtown Chicago sales team and help expand our customer base. It is a base plus commission position where the first year average compensation is $45k-$60k.
Our clients consist primarily of global corporations with decision-makers being human resources professionals and in-house legal departments. Some examples are American Airlines, Dow Jones, and the Chicago Blackhawks.
As a Corporate Account Executive, you will be responsible for business development to small and medium sized companies and eventually enterprise accounts. This is a predominantly inside sales position with some outside sales to other states.
Other duties/responsibilities include:
Must source and target accounts within the small to medium corporate range; will be given opportunities to target handful of Enterprise Account prospects.
Drive to continuously telephone cold call corporate prospects.
Excellent phone presentation and dialogue skills.
Ability to close new corporate accounts.
Answering client general/non-technical questions.
Working with the Client and Legal Services group to help ensure high level of service.
Handling client administrative and accounting needs.
Qualifications and requirements:
Bachelors Degree
1-5 years of business-to-business (B2B) sales experience
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Highly Intelligent ? must have the ability to quickly learn complex subjects and processes
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office
Positive attitude
