MicroSeismic, Inc. (MSI) is a well-established leader in the microseismic industry. The candidate will be responsible for developing and selling prospects our full suite of passive surface and downhole microseismic acquisition and processing services. Candidates with oil and gas industry background and knowledge will be considered, but we would prefer an engineering background within the oilfield services industry.
Location: This position covers Prospects in Houston, Dallas and/or Oklahoma City.
Job Description / Qualifications: Under limited supervision, the account manager will be responsible for the direct sale of company products and services. He/she will call on prospective customers in person and understand which questions to ask to better understand the prospects needs and requirements. Once the prospect has been fully vetted, the representative will provide the appropriate technical information and/or presentation of MicroSeismic, Inc.?s products that will solve that prospects unique need. Our service consists of the use of high-end seismic technology deployed in the hydraulic fracturing and well completion process. The candidate will be required to interact with both engineering and geoscience disciplines within the E&P industry.
Qualified candidates must have solid interpersonal skills, understanding of commercial and relationship management, ability to influence and negotiate, strong initiative/self-motivation, confident and a proven track record of closing deals. Geoscience or Engineering degree preferred, plus 4- 6 years sales experience within the oil and gas industry, preferably oilfield services.
The package includes a competitive base salary, aggressive sales commission plan, strong benefits package and the ability to telecommute as needed.
Responsibilities:
Developing and maintaining customer contacts through planned sales calls on existing and prospective customers.
Increasing the level of microseismic acquisition and processing in accordance with MSI strategy and business plan.
Identifying and participating in the customer purchasing process.
The ability to fully understand the importance of what we offer to the client and be able to communicate that importance effectively.
Basic knowledge of safety strategies and standards for the oil field.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are critical for this customer-interface position, plus application capability in windows, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint software.
Prepares own travel schedule and productive use of time. Maintains customer contact reports for service and follow-up. Some overnight travel, mostly local driving, depending upon territory. Estimate up to 60% away from home travel time a month. Responsible for judicious use of company expenses.
Valid driver?s license including a good driving record and the ability to safely operate a motor vehicle on a regular basis.
Submittal of all reports (expenses, mileage, CRM entries, forecasting of both revenue and bookings etc.) in a timely manner as required.
