Medivo, a New York City-based, venture backed healthcare technology company dedicated to helping save and improve lives through faster and easier access to quality health care is searching for a summer intern.Summary:
The Medivo Intern program is designed to help students find their path. As a Corporate Business Development Intern, half of your time will be spent performing research and operational tasks to support the CEO, while the other half is spent working on projects in areas that you have expressed interest in. You will work closely with the leadership team. Our goal is that at the end of the Internship, you will be very experienced at many aspects of entrepreneurship, business development in healthcare and ready for more responsibilities or another professional role. This is an unpaid position.
Job Responsibilities will include:
Working on strategic partnerships
Help prepare company materials (presentations, financial models, summary docs)
Follow up with investors
Research partners
Research new markets and opportunities
Set up and participate in meetings
Other projects to get broader exposure:
participate in product development and marketing meetings
additional research
Requirements:
High level of communication skills to manage internal and external expectations of the delivery of our high-value, new-channel healthcare services
Desire to work in a start-up environment where your contributions make an immediate impact, and where accountability is completely transparent
Align with Medivo's values around "doing good for healthcare" and having fun together
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
Minimum Bachelor's degree; ideal candidate will be pursuing an MBA
Highly organized with demonstrated attention to detail
