Spring Internship with Sports Technology Company in Downtown OrlandoXOS Digital, the leading provider of sports video technology, content management solutions and digital
media services for collegiate and professional sports organizations, is looking to add a qualified
corporate communications intern to its Downtown Orlando office for the 2013 Spring Semester.
This position is for academic credit and offers flexible hours, casual dress code and a fun
atmosphere.
If selected, the intern will walk away with relevant industry experience and a portfolio full of
finished work. XOS Digital is growing, and an exceptional intern is always considered for parttime and entry-level positions. XOS is looking for someone that can assist with developing
communications/public relations and corporate marketing materials. The intern will be wellversed in social media, earned media and other non-paid avenues to advertise products and build
brand recognition. Interns will also gain experience in media pitches, event planning, email
marketing, creative design, SEO and basic web design. Below is a summary of the
responsibilities that the intern would assist with:
Candidates will perform a variety of duties, inclusive of the following:
? Assist press release drafting, editing and distribution
? Research market trends
? Research media targeting and compile media lists
? Assist with media compilation and ad equivalency reporting
? Work with social media platforms to drive revenue and website traffic
? B2B and B2C copywriting
? Various special projects
Position Requirements:
? Sophomore, Junior or Senior student at an accredited educational institution
? Course work in one of the following: Marketing, Public Relations, Advertising,
Communications or I/O Comm
? Strong writing and speaking skills
? Communicates and operates professionally
? Eye for detail
? Knowledge of sports and/or technology is a plus, but not required
