Xradia is a fast growing scientific instrument company that designs and manufactures 3D X-ray microscopes for industrial and research applications. The company offers non-destructive high resolution/high contrast 3D imaging and quantitative analysis solutions for materials science, life sciences, geosciences, and semiconductor advanced packaging development and failure analysis. Our customers are a mix of academic research and industrial organizations, thus we need to communicate our brand to a wide range of audiences. We are looking for an experienced Marketing Communications professional to support the Outbound Marketing organization. The group is responsible for a wide variety of lead generation, branding, educational and awareness activities, including tradeshows; PR/media relations; content creation and marketing, including video; collateral; Web; online marketing initiatives; sales presentations; internal communications; special events;, webinars; advertising; and more. The Corporate Communications Manager will have significant responsibility for logistics management, tracking, reporting, guiding or supporting many of the communications initiatives.
Manage internal and external communication plans.
Coordinate pre-launch and launch marketing campaigns together with the Product Management team.
Mange the writing and copy editing for various marketing media, including press releases, articles, case studies, e-mails, newsletters, Web pages, print/online ads, and call scripts to generate media coverage, Web site traffic, and sales leads.
Support PR campaigns and media outreach efforts, including building relationships with industry press across all of the segments we serve.
Maintain a master tradeshow plan, updating and reporting on progress. Execute trade show plan, managing conference and services bookings and vendor logistics, negotiations and payments. Maintain budget and cost analysis information.
Annually develop new Tradeshow and Thought Leadership plan in conjunction with sales, marketing and segment managers.
Coordinate Thought Leadership calendar and plan, seeking presentation and other marketing opportunities for each show and new shows that represent areas of new market interest and growth.
Coordinate the design, writing, editing, production, and inventory of marketing collateral, presentations, and training materials.
Manage the production of video content.
Manage all assets for promotional use and for channel partner portal.
Manage Marcom budget in real time, including tradeshow and customer events, collateral, giveaways, etc. Budget may also include other Marcom costs such as webinars, videos, sponsorships and website management.
Some tradeshow attendance and travel will be required.
5+ years of marketing communications experience at technology driven companies.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills and fluency in English (written especially critical).
Energetic, positive person who thrives on working independently yet also has the ability to constructively collaborate with other marketing team members.
Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to articulate complex ideas in a simple and easy-to-understand manner.
Must have experience organizing trade shows and be able to communicate at a level commensurate to the attendee prospects.
Demonstrate confidence when presenting to large groups.
Extremely detail-oriented and well organized is a must.
Travel up to 15% of time may be required.
Proficient with Salesforce.com and Microsoft Office.
Proficiency with marketing automation platforms, video editing software, Google Apps and Web content management a plus.
Experience with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is highly desirable.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate outsourced marketing activities.
Keen understanding of branding and ability to create compelling messaging.
Must be able to physically lift and move boxes up to 50 lbs.
High-energy, self-starter, with a can-do attitude and superior attention to detail is essential.
Strong communication and writing skills; ability to take complex concepts and articulate them in an easily understood format.
Ability to communicate and partner cross-functionally and globally to effectively deliver product messages to audiences.
