As the senior social media manager, you will serve as a brand ambassador, engaging key influencers and thought leaders inside and external to DocuSign through social media to drive business results. The successful senior social media manager will develop and execute against an inspiring strategy, best-in-class programs and innovative tactics to create awareness of DocuSign, inspire advocates and ambassadors, drive sales and position DocuSign as the global standard for eSignature.
Responsibilities:
Social Media Strategy
Develop a comprehensive social media and digital strategy for DocuSign leveraging your background, experience & knowledge of social media trends & emerging technologies
Leverage social media to drive awareness, interest, sales, event promotion & reputation management
Partner with senior leadership, marketing, sales & customer success to integrate social media across departments, building a plan to promote industry thought leadership
Create & execute against a rolling 12 month social media engagement plan and rolling monthly social media conversation map
Social Media Execution
Manage the day-to-day activities for Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, the DocuSign Blog, LinkedIn and other social media sites
Build relationships and conduct outreach with key influencers (internal and external to DocuSign) to engage them in actively promoting the DocuSign brand
Own the look, feel and message of DocuSign across social media including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, the DocuSign Blog, LinkedIn and other social media sites
Research and write content for social media outlets
Track, monitor and analyze performance of social media programs and activities to drive continuous improvement
Video & Multi-Media
Conceptualize, create and edit videos for use on DocuSign.com, the DocuSign Blog, YouTube, Facebook, in leadership and sales presentations, at tradeshows and events, and in other social media
Coaching & Development
Serve as brand champion/ambassador while living the DocuSign values to deliver results
Coach and mentor business partners on effective use of social media to drive results
Actively solicit & act upon feedback from manager, peers & stakeholders
Take an active role in personal and professional development
Lead brown bags & webinars to coach and develop others on effective use of social media
Manage internal and external resources to timeline & budget to effectively deliver results
Functional Competencies:
Excellent written communications and editing skills
Experience in creating, editing and posting video for social media
Experience with HTML
Experience with social media measurement platforms including Radian6 and others
Effectively multi-task to consistently deliver on time and under budget
Ability to work within a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Project management skills to set accurate project schedules, timelines & work estimates
Competence in persuading and influencing others to effectively sell ideas and get results
Strict attention to detail and natural, consistent tendencies towards detail and follow through
Qualifications:
Minimum of 7 years experience in social media, digital media and video with preference for both in-house and agency experience
Demonstrated competence in creating and executing against social media strategy, campaigns and programs
Bachelor?s degree or higher/equivalent professional experience in Marketing, Communications or related degree
