The Corporate Controller position is responsible for the overall management of accounting functions and the provision of financial data and guidance to the operational functions of Mimosa, including the monthly closing process and production of actual monthly financial results, cash flow management and reporting, purchase order control, budgeting and forecasting, best practices, processes and internal controls. As part of Mimosa's start-up environment, this position is a key role in a small professional team. The successful candidate must blend strong financial management with an ability to react quickly to changing circumstances, ensuring that the business delivers its financial targets while continuing to focus on operational deliverables and improvements.
-Minimum requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field,
with at least 8+ years of accounting experience.
-Prior experience with a hardware manufacturing company is required.
-Significant prior experience in revenue recognition, inventory reserves, FIFO cost accounting,
and import/export laws is required.
-Significant experience/proficiency in NetSuite preferred.
-Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, internal controls and financial reporting required.
