Responsibilities:
Ensure a strong financial structure is in place to support the business and its key objectives by providing leadership, strategic thinking, deal execution and the ability to identify areas of improvement.
Manage the monthly close and all aspects of financial reporting
Provide financial oversight
Research complex accounting issues, understand the underlying principles and present those findings to management and the board of directors.
Influence and support each of the FireEye?s revenue producing units to execute on their individual business plans and achieve revenue and profitability targets.
Requirements:
10+ years of experience in leading a global finance organization focused on close partnership and support of key field facing business operations.
Bachelor?s degree in Accounting or Finance is required, MBA preferred
CPA required, Big 4 experience highly desirable
Experience with the above in a high tech and/or enterprise software or hardware company
Applied knowledge of channels and emerging markets.
A true understanding of how software & hardware deals flow: how they are marketed, negotiated and closed, both through direct sales teams and channel partners.
Strong knowledge of deal desk and deal desk support.
Experience with revenue recognition within a software and hardware environment is critical.
An understanding of and experience with global customer support departments.
Successful record or merger and acquisition transactions
Documented record of successfully guiding multiple organizations/divisions through transitions from start-up through growth
Proven ability to work in a high- paced environment, successfully partnering with cross-functional senior management to drive success internally and externally.
Strong written/ verbal skills, along with proven leadership abilities attaining and developing financial support staff at all levels.
