DescriptionEstablish and maintain corporate accounting policies and procedures ensure the integrity of financial data while providing financial information to management that guides the company to achieve its business objectives.
Responsibilities:
Drive the global accounting close and consolidations on a monthly basis. Provide accurate and timely consolidated accounting data and financial statements.
Manage all accounting transactional activities, including AP, AR, Payroll, and expense processing. Leverage tools and automation along with process changes to drive productivity improvements while enhancing ease-of-use for employees and customers.
Main liaison with external audit firm. Partner with audit team on annual audits and effectively resolve and document all issues.
Principal source of technical accounting expertise; proactively identify accounting issues relevant to LumaSense globally and research and document in accounting memos where necessary.
Qualifications:
Highly analytical individual with excellent problem solving skills; able to determine root cause of issues and develop effective and practical solutions.
Exceptional communication and influencing skills, both verbal and written. Must be able to effectively communicate issues in a succinct and constructive way.
High energy individual who is execution-focused, process-oriented, and proficient at driving change.
Strong personal integrity and highest ethical standards
Enthusiasm, drive and ability to plan and manage multiple complex projects.
Extended record of success in both accomplishment and career growth
Strong business acumen and judgment
Comfortable leading in flexing environments
Proven ability to positively drive and motivate teams
Ability to partner cross functionally and with a bigger picture perspective
Proven ability to develop, gain buy-in for, and implement processes and structure
Advanced MS office skills a plus
Experience in ERP implementation a strong plus
Education/Experience:
10 to 15 years of professional experience; 5+ years experience in multi-national, manufacturing-intensive companies
CPA and Big 4 experience preferred
