About the Position
This position will report to the CFO and will act as a valuable resource for the Company?s growth.? ?The position is directly responsible for financial accounting, internal and external reporting, as well as international financial consolidation.? The position also provides oversight to the development of processes, policies and controls to ensure financial integrity of business reporting and achievement of financial goals.?
Responsibilities:
Oversees the daily operations of the accounting functions, including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and treasury;?
Manages month-end close processes. Assist in the creation and analysis of monthly and quarterly results, forecasts and annual operating plan, including preparation and progressive refinement of insightful reporting;
Interfaces with audit and tax service providers and organizes internal staff to complete and provide all information as required
Designs, establishes, and maintains an organizational structure and staffing to effectively accomplish the function?s goals and objectives
Assist in the creation and analysis of monthly and quarterly results, forecasts and annual operating plan, including preparation and progressive refinement of insightful reporting
Work closely with key business leaders to manage accounting processes, apprise senior management of opportunities and risks and make insightful recommendations to optimize resource allocation
Participate in key strategic initiatives to help identify revenue enhancement and cost reduction opportunities, and improve internal business processes
Provide accounting support for all the business development opportunities, including acquisitions, partnerships and major customer agreements
Requirements:
BA/?BS in Accounting, Finance or Business, MBA or CPA preferred
7+? years of progressive experience in accounting and finance; Experience as a controller in a software environment preferred;
Public company experience, including SEC reporting.?
Familiar with QuickBooks and experience in system implementation a plus
Expertise in technical accounting, budgeting, planning and internal controls
Must demonstrate ability to work effectively in a small team environment as a hands-on, working manager and willing to coach, guide, develop, and support internal staff in a high-pressure, fast-paced work environment
Possess strong analytical and leadership skills and a high degree of accuracy
Excellent communication and presentation skills and a proven ability to establish positive relationships with senior management and outside audiences
