Zillow is looking to expand our legal team with an additional Corporate Counsel. This lawyer will be responsible for handling a wide variety of legal matters including M&A diligence and general commercial work. The position will report to the General Counsel.
Required Skills & Experience
JD with state bar admission (Washington preferred)
2 - 3 years at a large law firm with participation in a substantial number of M&A transactions. This is the essential requirement for the position
Conscientious, detail-orientated and meticulous practitioner
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Overall, the role of this person would be to support our business partners and legal team on legal matters as needed. Specific areas of responsibility will include the following:
M&A diligence
M&A integration support
Development and implementation of a comprehensive contract management database across all Zillow businesses
Drafting of business development and other commercial agreements
Review and implementation of sweepstakes rules and other promotional documentation
Basic legal research and regulatory research matters
Support on intellectual property matters
