The Corporate Development Intern will report into the VP of Corporate Development and will play an important supporting role in the company?s strategic planning process. The position provides exposure to a wide variety of assignments which requiring creativity and initiative on the part of the Intern.
Perform specific short-term projects related to the company?s strategic planning process in its key markets of single-cell genomics and production genomics.
Conduct customer surveys and interviews to assess customer needs, market trends and competition
Search business and scientific literature, and compile and analyze search results.
Build market and revenue financial models
Compile and analyze key sales and customer data
Provide technical support for competitive and market analysis
College Degree in technical field.
Ph.D. or graduate student, who has advanced to candidacy in molecular biology, cell biology biochemistry, biophysics, bioinformatics, bioengineering, chemical biology or related scientific field. Interdisciplinary technical experience preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written English in technical, legal, and business communications.
Ability to appreciate alternative perspectives relating to scientific, legal and business issues.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
