Position Summary:
Specific Media, Inc. is currently hiring for a Corporate Recruiter to support its internal staffing needs at its Corporate Office in Irvine, CA.
The successful candidate will perform full life-cycle recruiting, work closely with hiring managers assessing their recruiting and business needs, and hire professionals to increase the talent level across the organization. The individual will also drive and participate in regular recruiting meetings to discuss recruiting trends and metrics. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with all levels of leadership, multiple disciplines, and within a geographically dispersed organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Includes the following but other duties may be assigned.
Assist in the administration and execution of the recruitment processes throughout the company.
Assist in ensuring a cost-effective recruiting operation.
Increase and maintain awareness of creative and innovative sourcing strategies and work closely with team to develop optimal approach for clients.
Effectively apply diverse staffing methodology and promote standards.
Clearly define position requirements and recruiting process. Recommend interviewing and hiring techniques as appropriate.
May place employment advertisements and/or analyze reports and trends.
Maintain statistical information relating to recruitment.
Assist in the development of recruitment and retention strategies.
Providing employee assistance, including employee relations, benefits inquiries and procedural inquiries.
Additional responsibilities include: establishing relationships with assigned programs, program management and maintaining HR operations to ensure sound employment.

Competencies:
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
5+ years of experience in full life-cycle recruiting for Federal government contracts.
Strong knowledge of key recruiting methodologies: sourcing, selecting candidates, negotiating, interviewing and screening, and complying with appropriate Federal regulations.
Experience with an Applicant Tracking System is a plus.
Technical proficiency in MS Office is a must (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Must have a desire to work in a fast-paced, high caliber and dynamic organization.
Strong knowledge of industry and technology trends.
Knowledge of employee relations, compensation, and benefits.
Ability to adapt to a changing environment and conditions; ability to be collaborative, cross-functional, and strategic.
Demonstrate excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
Must possess an outstanding customer focus.
General knowledge of HR functions such as Compliance, Performance Management, Conflict Resolution and Training is a plus.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Solid understanding of employment laws and regulations (desired).
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor?s degree or equivalent.
Minimum of five years of relevant professional experience.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of:
Proficient with Microsoft Suite.
Experience using Outlook.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
