The Corporate Sales & Business Development Operations Manager (Sales Ops) role at Healthline is responsible for a broad array of sales operations activities designed to (a) keep the sales cycle short; (b) create transparency and accountability within the sales and business development teams; and (c) support field sales activities to ensure efficiency and maximum effectiveness. The individual filling this role must have a love for organization in general, facility with sales automation and CRM systems, and a passion for winning. The ability to efficiently create actionable reports from disparate data sets is key. Prior experience in health information technology sales is ideal.
Working with the VP of Corporate & Product Marketing, COO and CEO, establish sales systems and processes to enable:
Transparency and regular reporting;
Effective pipeline management;
Lead scoring and channel conflict management; and
Support of field sales and business development activities.
Establish and manage a single corporate CRM system for use across sales teams in both the HIT Solutions and Media Groups at Healthline.
Set up and manage a Proposal Management System; keep proposal content updated in collaboration with the Product and Finance teams.
Develop and manage standard list pricing by product / solution in collaboration with the Product and Finance teams.
Set up and coordinate a contract generation system in collaboration with Product and Finance.
Provide executive field support to the General Manager of the HIT Solutions Group and the Chief Strategy Office (who leads corporate business development.)
Set up a regular system of reporting consistent with the needs of the CEO, Business Unit GMs, Sales, Corporate Marketing, Corporate Business Development and Finance leadership.
Provide support to the Field Sales team; manage a field sales intranet and associated assets.
Manage master PowerPoint pitch decks in coordination with the Corporate Marketing Director.
Other associated duties as may be assigned.
Healthline seeks a candidate in possession of the following qualifications:
Four years Sales Ops or related experience, preferably in the health information technology market segment.
A passion for setting up and managing CRM and sales automation systems.
The professional maturity to manage and prioritize activities, and the ability to interact with leadership across our company and that of our partners and customers.
An entrepreneurial spirit and personal ambition are key strengths Healthline looks for in all of its employees.
A bachelor?s degree in business administration, economics, or equivalent career experience.
Demonstrable organizational skills, a natural ability for analytics, and a strong detail orientation is required.
Facility with basic business software, including the Microsoft Office Suite and Google Apps, is required. Particular skill in creating and managing PowerPoint presentations is ideal.
Experience using sales productivity software, including Salesforce, contract management systems, proposal management systems, MailChimp, BaseCamp and / or Google Analytics, is also required.
