Principal duties of this sales person will be to acquire and grow new revenue by:
The Corporate Sales role is a newly established ?inside sales? role to grow revenue and improve key client relationships. The assignment includes, but is not limited to, new business acquisition, existing client application growth, revenue generation and enterprise account management. This Seattle- based quota carrying position requires both hunting and farming sales skills, account and opportunity planning, and a collaborative engagement approach.
Manage a target account list as your own business. Hunt, harvest, nurture, and protect relationships with prospects and existing clients ? develop ?trusted advisor? relationships.
Hunt within target account list to identify solutions with a positive ROI.
Harvest net-new relationships with prospects and within existing clients to grow revenue and ensure Varolii is a strategic partner.
Provide thought leadership by understanding the client?s business.
Deliver outstanding customer service.
Develop key account plans and execute tactical actions to support the account plan.
Grow addition application opportunities.
Grow business within existing accounts.
Provide the plan of action for the extended Varolii team to support the account plan ? strong communication and internal selling a requirement.
Manage a variety of resources to show the prospect the ?Varolii value? in a matrix management environment.
Leverage Varolii industry presence and expertise.
Motivate and lead the extended team within Varolii to support your account plan.
Be inclusive of the extensive Varolii supporting team ? operations and technical support, professional services, product management, sales teams, and executive management.
Manage your business
Understand the prospect and client buying process and accurately forecast revenue on a weekly basis.
Qualifying business is equally important as disqualifying business.
Strategically and creatively build pipeline and maintain coverage to quota.
Host online presentations and demonstrations online.
Provide prompt phone/email follow up on inquiries and properly document and track results in the CRM system.
Negotiate contract terms and pricing.
Coordinate the extended team resources to measure, monitor, and report on Varolii solution business results to ensure solutions are addressing the client business requirements.
Be a Varolii Team member and leader
Help identify and assist in process improvements where appropriate.
Understand and stay current on the strategic corporate direction.
Actively participate in industry specific target market teams to ensure our solutions and overalldirection is in alignment with industry drivers.
Contribute to the overall success of Varolii.
Requirements (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
5(+) years selling business application solutions and/or SaaS at the enterprise level (solution selling).
A demonstrated track record of successful selling and a corresponding earnings history.
Experience selling to line of business decision makers or c-level with outstanding presentation skills, and excellent written and spoken communication skills required.
Someone who thrives in a fast paced, open, collaborative, passionate, and driven team environment and knows how to effectively leverage resources in a matrix management environment to drive business.
Ability to manage the opportunity pipeline from prospecting to securing the signature ? knowledge and expertise in the fundamentals of complex selling.
Corporate Sales/Inside Sales experience required with a proven ability to close business via phone and face to face.
Experience selling contact/call center, CRM, or enterprise software solutions is a plus.
BS/BA is required.
