Cost Accountant Intematix

Reports to: Corporate Controller
General Purpose/Objectives:
An exceptional opportunity for an experienced cost accountant to help drive worldwide cost accounting efforts from the ground up. The successful candidate will develop and implement cost accounting procedures and methods in a complex manufacturing environment for an international, high technology manufacturing company. Intematix is growing significantly and we are looking for someone who can lead various cost savings initiatives with the opportunity to develop and recommend changes in current accounting methods and procedures.
? Assist in the development of product costing for products manufactured worldwide.
? Key contact for the year end external audit including, preparation of schedules, and analysis of accounts and variances to assist in the audit process.
? Provide timely reporting to Operations and Product Development including direct labor, raw material usage variance and overhead absorption.
? Compile product costs including direct labor, raw materials, and overhead on a semi-annual basis and sign off on final costing.
? Report monthly on variances from standard for all cost components.
? Work with FP&A to develop cost modeling
? Participate in the selection and implementation of a new costing system.
? Assist the accounting team with other GL and AR projects as needed.
Required Qualifications:
? BS in Accounting/Finance/Business.
? 5+ years Cost Accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
? Strong understanding of Cost Systems and best practices
? Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP.
? International logistics and supply chain experience preferred
? Knowledge of Microsoft AX Dynamics a plus.
? Must be team oriented and possess a "can do" attitude.
? Self starter with ability to multi-task, work with flexibility, and meet deadlines.
