Cost Accountant K2M
Ensure integrity of inventory and cost accounting systems for K2M. This includes maintaining internal control systems and procedures to ensure that all transactions are properly recorded and that inventories and cost of goods produced are properly stated. Participate in month-end closing process which includes preparing journal entries, reconciling ledgers and accounts, preparing and analyzing monthly reports. Prepare special analysis and reports as required.
Complete month end close processes for inventory and cost of goods sold (preparation of reports, JEs, account reconciliations, variance investigation)
Establish and maintain average costs
Work with Materials Management to plan and oversee annual physical Inventory process
Reserve reporting and analysis
Monitor cycle counting policies and procedures
Analyze product cost, inventory forecast and budgets
Participate in various cost savings projects
Review and prepare account reconciliations and audit schedules
Provide support for month-end and year-end processes and related accounting matters such as reserve analysis, fluctuation analysis, Gross Profit Analysis.
Monitor compliance with internal controls in the area of cost of sales
Bachelors degree or equivalent; and two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Medical device manufacturing experience is a plus.

Strong working knowledge of integrated accounting systems in an automated environment.
Good working knowledge of Bill of Material, Routers, Work processing, Inventory and Product flow
Good working knowledge of GAAP
Demonstrated talent for achieving results, meeting deadlines and handling multiple tasks simultaneously
Must be accurate and capable of complex analytical reasoning
